Descriptive statistics was used to answer research questions while Chi-Square was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. It was found that fuel subsidy removal has significant impact on students’ access to learning materials, school attendance and punctuality to lectures in the selected tertiary institutions in Katsina State, Nigeria. It was therefore concluded that; fuel subsidy removal without proper plan in place to mitigate the rising cost of living associated with fluctuating fuel pump price, has a significant impact on students’ learning activities in Katsina State.
